By accessing or using Parochia (“the Service”), operated by Linkedbits (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Parochia is a free website builder for Catholic parishes. It allows parish administrators to create and manage a public website for their church, including information about Mass schedules, sacraments, staff, events, and photos.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must verify your email address before your account is fully activated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including text, images, and other materials (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant Linkedbits a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This license includes the right to cache, transcode, and serve your content through our infrastructure and third-party services (such as CDNs and image hosting).
You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload. You represent that you have the rights to upload such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
We employ automated moderation to filter inappropriate content, including profanity filters for text and explicit content detection for images. Content that violates our moderation policies may be rejected or removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your User Content after termination.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkedbits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Linkedbits and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your User Content.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
